Mactrac
Medical Healthcare tracks
Mactrac healthcare tracks provide total privacy, comfort and safety for patients.
Made made of durable Aluminum, this is a preferred option for the medical industry.
Our rails feature rounded ridges in the runner channel, the system is very quiet, smooth to operate, and hard wearing.
Curtains attached to the track systems are easy to move and operate, and are used in hospitals, clinics, veterinary surgeries, and community living environments throughout New Zealand.
Components and Layouts
Stainless Steel Glides
Made from high density polyethylene.
A stainless steel hook from which the curtain is suspended.
You may also choose extra long hooks (8cm compared to a 3cm drop) for hoisting situations.
Nylon Glides
Made from high density polyethylene.
An acetyl hook from which the curtain is suspended.
These are used predominantly for lighter curtains and grip the eyelet or button more firmly.
Wall Bracket
This is the bracket that connects your track to your wall if your wall meets the track at a standard 90 degree angle.
These uniquely designed brackets can be used to anchor the last glide and hook on either side, so the curtain doesn’t pull away from the wall.
Swivel Bracket
This is the bracket that connects your wall bracket track to your wall if your wall meets the track at an angle.
Combined with the wall bracket, these brackets can be used to anchor the last glide and hook on either side, so the curtain doesn’t pull away from the wall.
Bottom Hanger Ferrule
This bracket is a metal cast that attaches to the hanger rod at the bottom of the hanger rod.
It has two small “feet” that fit perfectly onto the top of the track.
These can be attached by screws or 4.1mm rivets
Top Hanger Ferrule
This bracket is a metal cast that attaches to the hanger rod at the top of the hanger rod.
These are meant to attached to the ceiling.
These can be attached by screws or 4.1mm rivets
Sloped Ceiling Bracket
Designed to accommodate tracks where the ceiling is at an angle other than 90 degrees, the Swivel Bracket replaces the Top Hanger Ferrule.
So, if your ceiling is sloped where the hanger rod will connect to the ceiling, then you’ll need the Sloping Ceiling Bracket to connect it securely.
Hanger Rod Set
This is a view of the complete hanger rod set attached to a Mactrac track.
It is complete with a top hanger ferrule, bottom hanger ferrule and a hanger (or dropper) rod.
Round Ceiling Bracket
